OUR ART CAR
"TIME"

Built from a retired Greyhound coach bus, "Time" is more than an art car — it’s a living portal reminding us to inhabit the present. Reinforced with a hand‑welded steel exoskeleton and wrapped in sculpted aluminum, it pulses with light and sound. At its heart stands a glowing, interactive hourglass — programmable LEDs tracing the rhythm of energy. Open to sky and spirit, Time invites transformation, reflection, and radical presence.

BUILD JOURNEY

By the end of summer 2025, Time will fully emerge. The base of the build is a 1988 MCI 102A3 Coach Bus — once used to shuttle thousands across the country. Its walls and seats are gone. Its purpose reborn.

The process follows 6 key phases:

  1. Structural Prep: Frame reinforcement and stripping the interior

  2. Interior Build: A ground-level stage open to the sky, creating seamless interaction between performers and audience

  3. Exterior Design: Sculpted aluminum shell and rounded ends for a smooth, space-age silhouette

  4. Hourglass Construction: A towering steel structure mounted above the roof, reinforced and interactive via pulley system

  5. Lighting & Ambiance: Internal hourglass glow, programmable LEDs outlining the structure, and ambient underglow at night

  6. Sound System: Integrated stage-level speakers and bass layers for live performance and immersive DJ sets
